Chathappuram grew up in suburban Chicago and is a Columbia College alum. Filmed and set in Chicago, CA$H follows a young couple, played by Hemsworth and Victoria Profeta, as they deal with the consequences of falling into a much-needed wad of, well, cash:
A stroke of good luck turns lethal for Sam Phelan and his wife Leslie when they are faced with a life-changing decision that brings strange and sinister Pyke Kubic (SEAN BEAN) to their doorstep. As Pyke leads Sam and Leslie on a tumultuous adventure through the streets of Chicago, each are pulled deeper and deeper into a desperate spiral of deception and violence… All in the name of money. Chathappuram has based his production company, Immortal Thoughts, in Northfield and hopes to bring future projects to Chicago. Even more interesting, he’s outsourced post-production work on some of his previous projects to Mumbai and Chennai, taking advantage of the professional skills and lower costs abundant in both cities. Is this going to be a new trend in the U.S. film industry?
